Our hard working team working in the boat yard

Most of us own and sail boats on The Orwell and surrounding rivers, and so understand the needs of our customers and their boats.

The team is:

Gus Curtis – yard manager
Sarah Curtis – office manager
Adam Hubbard – yard/launching worker
Gerald Abbott – marine engineer
Andrew Tweed – shipwright
Dave Fisher – yard/machinery worker
Lee Dunnett – boat painter
Derek Harvey – stainless steel and metal fabrication

In 1989, Gus started working for Geoff King , grandson of Harry King. Gus and Sarah took over running the business when Geoff and his wife, Yvonne, retired in 2005.
